Even before founding Pro Ukraine e.V. – directly after the collapse of the Soviet Union – we organised humanitarian aid transports to Ukraine together with the THW, delivering medical equipment and medicine.

The association was founded on 2 February 2003 and focuses its work on the town of Rohatyn in western Ukraine. There we support the Lyceum “Gymnasium of Prince Volodymyr the Great” with scholarships, a computer centre, a youth centre and daily meals for orphans.

With Russia’s war of aggression the humanitarian situation has dramatically worsened. We support children and families as well as soldiers of the Ukrainian forces with warm clothing and essentials.
