2. General information
We process personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website and our content, or where you have given your consent. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6 (1) GDPR.
3. Hosting (Cloudflare Pages)
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) via the “Cloudflare Pages” service. Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data (in particular IP address, date and time of the request, volume of data transferred, user agent) to deliver the page and to defend against attacks.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and efficient delivery (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). For transfers to the USA, Cloudflare relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. More information: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
4. Server log files
When you access the website, information is automatically collected in server log files that your browser transmits (see above). This data is technically necessary, is not merged with other data sources, and serves security and stability.
5. Contact form
When you send us a message via the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, email address, message) in order to respond to your enquiry.
The form is handled via the Web3Forms service. Your input is transmitted to the Web3Forms servers and forwarded from there to us by email. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent) and (b)/(f) GDPR (handling your enquiry).
The data remains with us until the purpose of storage no longer applies; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
6. Donations via PayPal
If you use the PayPal button, you will be redirected to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. Data processing is then carried out by PayPal in accordance with their privacy policy: https://www.paypal.com/en/legalhub/privacy-full.
7. Fonts
We use self-hosted fonts (Lora, Manrope). No connections to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts) are made for this purpose.
8. Cookies & analytics
This website sets no tracking cookies and, by default, uses no analytics tools with personal tracking. Should cookieless audience measurement (e.g. Cloudflare Web Analytics) be introduced in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
9. Your rights
You have the right to information (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
